Job Title: Production Associate & Retail Sales Support

About Us:
San Util Design creates handmade, innovative bikepacking and outdoor gear, designed and manufactured in-house in Winter Park. We value craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and empowering people to explore further by bike and on foot.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Production Associate to join our small team. This role combines hands-on production work in our shop with retail sales and customer support. You will be cutting and prepping fabrics, sewing a wide variety of bag designs, and helping customers in our store to choose the right products for their adventures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut, mark, and prepare fabrics according to production patterns and standards
  
  

• Sew multiple bag styles (over 50 patterns) with precision and quality control
  
  

• Maintain organization and cleanliness in the production area
  
  

• Assist with inventory tracking and production planning as needed
  
  

• Engage with customers in the retail store, providing gear advice and setup recommendations
  
  

• Educate customers on the pros and cons of different fabrics, designs, and setups
  
  

• Support general shop tasks as part of a small, collaborative team
  
  

Qualifications:

• Sewing experience preferred (industrial machine experience is a plus)
  
  

• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  
  

• Ability to follow patterns and instructions accurately
  
  

• Interest in bikepacking, biking, or outdoor adventures (preferred but not required)
  
  

• Comfortable interacting with customers and providing honest, knowledgeable advice
  
  

• Ability to stand, bend, and work with hands for extended periods
  
  

Hours & Compensation:
30-40hr / week

We do a 1 month trial period at $17/hr then bump to $20/hr. We are trying our hardest to work with people and be competitive with raises.
