These note book covers were designed with feedback from CAIC forecasters. We wanted a simple, durable, solution to replace some of the Brooks Range covers that have been slowly going out of service. 

We are making them in a Velcro closure for a slim easy to slide in a pocket closure as well as a Fidlock magnet for the more high tech folks. 

These covers work well with 5"x7" books. Snowpit Technologies, Aiare Notebooks, or Rite In The Rain. There are a few elastic slots for pencils and a cover to stop lead or ink getting on the pages. There are two sleeves on each side and a book marker. 

These are the in stock notebook covers. What we have in stock will ship asap.

Didn’t know I needed this

I stopped in after my aiare 1 course and was complaining about losing my pencil every time I take out my blue book. Adam showed me this and it has become an essential for my backcountry kit. Holds everything I use and fits in my bib pocket. Haven’t lost a pencil since.

Best THING ever!!!!

This thing packs a punch! It holds all the essentials for being a nerd in the snow along with super slim to fit in a pocket or slide right into your pack. I got the Velcro version and even with laying it in the snow and getting covered in it. I was surprised that the Velcro was able to close and secure my goodies inside! 10/10 recommend if you are wanting something to hold a minimalist snow study kit and field book! Plus the colors are fire!🔥

All of our fabrics are water proof with the exception of waxed canvas. Because our bags are sewn, non of them are fully waterproof (albeit very very water resistant).
