Mini Panniers that were designed with rugged riding in mind. They are a scaled down version of the lightweight panniers that we have been making for over a year now. Quite a few missions would benefit from having some extra space to carry gear, but for the ultra light enthusiasts a regular size pannier is over kill. My hope with building these is to use them on my Transition Spur for the Colorado Trail next year. It seems like quite a few routes in the rocky mountain region would work best on a full suspension and carrying the weight low just feels so good when descending.

*The seconds panniers have the bar tack spacing off. They are perfect otherwise.

For stocked panniers. The price is for a single pannier. If you want a matching set, order quantity 2 panniers. If I only have 1 pannier in stock of the color you want, shoot me an email at adam@sanutildesign.com and I will let you know when the restock ETA is, or build you a one off.
They’re simple, have no complicated hardware, require no tools for adjustment, and are completely rattle-free. - John Watson (The Radavist)

Got one to replace a dry bag i was using instead of a pannier.
As soon as it arrived i knew i needed another one. Well done on crafting a terrific piece of gear using excellent materials and a simple design..
Thanks

Shakedown Success

Got a pair of stocked mini panniers and just finished the first overnight gravel shakedown ride. Between myself and buddy I had the panniers and a San Util frame bag and he used a San Util hip belt/bag. I currently ride the panniers on a Burley moose rack (because, kids) behind a Surly Krampus and, while nothing about my actual bike setup is light, the panniers were basically flawless over a couple of days of muddy gravel. The volumetric size and shape are well thought out and I was able to get everything I need for a 3-4 ride in decent weather in them, the frame bag, and my basket without fork bags. The panniers are tough, easy to open at stops for access, and the closures work well. Simple attachment design with voile straps (included is a big +). Only issue with the straps was they would occasionally flip out of the tuck into the spokes and give me the old-school feeling of riding with a card on the wheel. No rattle, no shifting, which surprised me. They are exactly wide enough for a regular sized Ipad to slide into. If it's helpful, I was able to carry a tent, sleeping pad, cook kit, and houdini in one and a bag of clothes, ipad, 3" tube, and shit kit in the other. Probably had a little room for a bit more, but that was probably 6L once packed. Big fan of San Util waxed canvas and very pleased with the purchase.

Water resistance

All of our fabrics are water proof with the exception of waxed canvas. Because our bags are sewn, non of them are fully waterproof (albeit very very water resistant).
